Twenty years after its original release, IRAE’s “Terror 666” returns through Signal Rex in a special anniversary edition, featuring all tracks remastered for this release, new artwork and lyrics included in a 12-page booklet.

Founded in 2002 by Vulturius, IRAE emerged from the Portuguese underground with a raw, hostile approach to black metal. Originally released in 2006, “Terror 666” captures that formative spirit through grim atmosphere, abrasive violence and primitive recording methods.

All tracks on this edition were recorded by Vulturius between December 2004 and September 2005 at S.A.T.H.R. Studios, using an old 12-track mixing table and an analogue recorder. Nocturnus Horrendus recorded the drums, except on “Kill Without Mercy”, which features a drum improvisation by Vulturius.

This anniversary edition revisits the recordings that shaped IRAE’s early identity, bringing them back into circulation for longtime followers and those discovering them today. Two decades later, the hostility remains intact.

The CD edition will be released on December 10, 2026, with the vinyl edition to follow in early 2027, both through Signal Rex.
