The Hurst is dead following its sacrifice in fire, but this death yields to the life of supernatural energies possessing the ritual site with their obscure, yet palpable presence. Spiritual vestiges of the untamed, pagan past dwell in clandestine places and archaic remains, asserting their inscrutable nature through mystical subversions of the present.
Black Hurst channels a wide range of influences to deliver black metal with a pronounced heavy metal edge.
